E-learning kit on
UN Common Country Programming Processes

On 15th February 2008, an updated e-learning kit on UN Common Country Programming Processes was launched. The e-learning kit includes 11 modules on the CCA/UNDAF (Common Country Analysis/United Nations Development Assistance Framework) process in general and 7 new modules on cross-cutting themes. The seven themes are:

> Capacity Development
> Conflict Prevention
> Disaster Risk Reduction
> Environmental Sustainability
> Human Rights-based Approach
> Sector-wide Approaches
> Gender Equality

The content of the modules were developed by the Inter-agency task team under the guidance of the UNDG Country Programme Support Group. It is a product of joint efforts by many UN agencies including specialized agencies and non-resident agencies. This e-learning kit will help UN staff and their partners in the field better understand the UN Common Country Programming Processes and strengthen their capacity to develop and implement a coherent UN programme at the country level. Upon completion of the modules, learners can obtain the certificates of attendance.

The course is currently available only in the English language, although French and Spanish language version will be made available later this year.
