The UNSSC’s vision is to be a high-quality centre of excellence of learning and training services dedicated to support the UN system in achieving its objectives and building its capacities, while focusing on a number of strategic areas. Our vision encompasses a commitment to being financially-viable, client-focused and results-oriented.
This vision will be realized when:
- The UNSSC is recognized as an important, valuable and visible asset to the UN family of Programmes, Funds and Agencies, concentrating on UN Reform and other system-wide priority areas.
- Our programmes are strategic in nature and clearly identified as ‘adding value’ to existing staff training and development offered within the UN System and respond appropriately to the learning needs of UN organizations.
- Our programmes and activities are seen as demonstrating the cutting edge in best practice, and a model which others in the United Nations strive to emulate.
- The UNSSC is seen as having built strategic alliances inside the United Nations and outside, and can leverage these alliances for the good of the UN as a whole.
- Our talented, professional, versatile and diverse staff team ensures that we have the multi-skilled learning faculty and human resources required to deliver our services.
