Introduction

The programme has been designed to take participants through a ‘full’ cycle of innovation: from idea generation to prototyping. The design is hands-on and draws on the latest so-called human centered design thinking. We will generate solutions to participants’ actual challenges in a fast-paced event that  includes tips and guidance for those who wish to replicate the training within their teams.

Upon sucessful completeion of this 2-day programme the participant will:

  • Be able to apply the innovation process and tool box to their ‘own’ innovation projects
  • Be able to conduct an innovation training (if participants bring some facilitation experience to the trainiing)

The course is hands-on and highly interactive. Fun, fast-paced and useful.

Course Contents

Course Contents: 

Day 1: Introduction to innovation (definition), the innovation process, challenge identification and idea generation.

Day 2: Prioritization, prototyping and facilitating. Individual commitments and evaluation.

UN staff (others are also welcome) with an interest in understanding innovation, and staff with some facilitation experience who wish to facilitate innovation training.

Thanks to multiple donors’ support this course is offered at a subsidized fee of USD 990. This does not include travel, accomondation of lunch. Light snacks will be available throughout the two days.
