Nancy Raphael brings energy, creativity, and commitment to her consulting and coaching practices. She has over 30 years of human resources experience in the international not-for-profit sector. She currently serves as a change management consultant, Senior Adviser and Executive Coach for UNICEF’s Information Technology Department. Nancy has also worked in a similar capacity with UNFPA and UNAIDS as well as not-for-profit organizations, including The Transition Network, the YMCA and the Fortune Society (which helps formerly incarcerated people find employment). Her career record includes appointments as Director of Human Resources for UNAIDS in Geneva; as Regional Chief of Human Resources for UNICEF for Europe and Central Asia and as Chief, Staff Relations for UNICEF in the Division of Human Resources at New York specializing in conflict resolution.
Nancy holds a certification in executive coaching from the Columbia University Business School and Teachers College, as well as an M.S. in Human Resources from the New School University, specializing in Organizational Development and a B.A. from SUNY New Paltz. She also holds a certificate from the Wharton/AHRMIO Human Capital Leadership Program from the Wharton Business School. She is qualified administrator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator Personality Preference Test and the Belbin Team Role Profiles Instrument.
